Supper club diaries
The beginning of Supper club
I started a supper club having moved to Tunbridge Wells
after living in London, New York and Dublin. It started with six new friends
from the area and our supper club ran for 11 years. We shared lots of
experiences, life journeys, from raising children, dealing with life’s knocks
as well as celebrating the good times. We laughed, we cried, strong bonds were
formed, we supported each other, we fell out, some moved counties and some
moved countries. However, food was what was our first love and it is what
brought us all together. In 2009 I was a quarter finalist on Masterchef – I
loved every moment of that experience. I learned a huge amount about food and
what sort if cook I am. I felt at home in a restaurant kitchen but knew that is
was something I did not want to pursue. I love nothing more than sharing
delicious simple food with family and friends. This is my new blog and you can also follow me on Instagram @rachelssupperclub looking forward to sharing recipes and helping with menu ideas for you and your family in the time of lockdown. I hope
you enjoy xx
